Terms of Service

*The quickest way to get in contact with me by DMing me on Discord.By commissioning me, you agree to abide by my copyright policies. Only the "Commissioned Artwork Policy" applies to commissioned artwork.Process1. When I am ready to take your commission, or if there is no one on the waitlist, we will communicate regarding the commission regarding the request & payment.2. When the sketch/design is complete & approved, payment will be requested. See below for payment details. After this point, there will be no more major changes.3. I will finish the commission and communicate with any questions I have and provide regular process updates. If you would like a small change or want to check progress, you may ask me at any time.4. When your commission is complete, I will send it to you and ask if there are any final changes you'd like to make. Upon approval, your commission is complete!

The first additional character is free. Any additional characters after that are +50% of the base cost.Your finished commission will contain a discreetly placed signature. Removing this signature is a $5 fee.Commercial use rights can be bought for +100% of the total cost.Alternative Commissions
You can purchase an incomplete commission (such as a lines-only, or uncolored sketch) for half of the listed cost.

Refunds

A refund will NOT be issued if:
- Commission is otherwise complete
- Commission includes more than 2 characters, is not bust-up, and base colors are finishedA partial refund may be issued if:
- Commission is partially complete and/or complexA full refund may be issued if:
- In the case of poor service (poor communication, rudeness)
- In the case that I was unable to provide the finished commission within the expected time frame.Refunds are determined on a case-by-case basis. If there is a refund, it will be recorded here.It may take time to receive your refund since commission funds are used up on expenses very quickly. A refund will be always delivered at the earliest possibility.

Copyright Policy

Commissioned Artwork Policy (Applies to any artwork paid for after DEC/11/2022)
• Commissioned artwork comes with personal use by default. Commercial use can be purchased for an extra fee (see my TOS)
• Use of my artwork in AI artwork or image generator training is expressly prohibited.
• Reasonable attribution (credit) must be given in the form of a link to my website, wherever publicly posted. (Example: Art by lostinlalin.carrd.co) This includes artwork with commercial use.
• Character designs come with commerical use by default.General/Personal Artwork Policy
• Use of my artwork in AI artwork or image generator training is expressly prohibited. AI Art generation falls under "derivative works" in copyright law, which is unlawful when prohibited by the original content author.
• Duplication of my work for profit without my written consent is expressly prohibited.
• Public reposts are permitted with a direct link to my website, denoted as Credit. (https://lostinlalin.carrd.co)
• Use of my characters in cameos is permitted with credit (link to my website).
• Some social medias (which will be referred to in my policy as "Licensed Content Platforms") carry copyright policies that conflict with mine, for all works posted on their site. Examples are Unsplash.com and FreeMusicArchive.com. In any case where an account that I own has posted an image on one of these sites, the website copyright policy takes precedence, as agreed in the site TOS. Any account not listed on my website is NOT owned by me and, if posting on these sites, is committing copyright infringement and WILL be persecuted.**Any permissions not congruent with all of the above policies must be accompanied by my written consent.* Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Facebook, ToyHouse, PenUp, Artfol, PixiV, Discord, Reddit, DeviantArt are all considered Established Social Medias. Any site not listed is not considered an established social media and requires written consent to post my artwork on.
